🍯Honey gets its colour from the pollens that the bees 🐝 gather to make it, and can range from almost transparent through various shades of golden amber, to very dark, almost black. Because plant 🌺 varieties blossom at different times of year, a single hive can produce different colours of honey from season to season. Storage time can also affect the colour, with some honey varieties becoming darker over time, whilst crystalized honey will become lighter.
